Bellamar Akumal

3 Months To Go:

  • Choose your wedding dress. You might schedule a dress fitting every 15 days to feel more comfortable, and make sure your size remains the same.
  • Confirm with all your vendors. It would be best if you had your Venue confirmed in advance. Still, you can secure other services now, such as photography and video, DJ, Band music, Menu, Honeymoon, Wedding favors, Flowers and Bouquet.
  • Mail your invitations. Three months is an excellent time to send them, longer if your wedding is in another destination. You can send traditional paper invitations or e-vites instead, which makes you happy with the design and text.
  • Start your vows. You can search pre-written vows to get some ideas, and then decide on the approximated words, style, and touch with your partner.
  • Book your beauty date. Reserve hair, nail, and makeup test to see you before the Big Day. It would be great if your closest friends can join you and have a special day.

2 Months To Go:

  • Select your wedding songs. You need at least three memorable songs, one for your entry to the venue, one for the ceremony end, when you are already married, and another for your first dance with your fiancé. You may need some extras songs: one for the ceremony (lower), one to dance with your parents, and a selection for the party.
  • Check the marriage license. The required documents, deadlines, and any other information. If you decide on a destination wedding, ask about special requirements for foreigners.
  • Give gifts for your bridal party. It’s the small things that count, you can buy or make it, but that detail shows how much you appreciate your friends.
  • Make a program for your ceremony and reception. This way, everyone will know the program in advance to avoid delays, although things can change at the last minute. Decide on the ring bearer, the toasting glasses, the place for the dance, photo booth

1 Month To Go:

  • Check that all services and reservations are in order. Send schedules, details to hotels, photographers, transportation services, your venue, and vendors.
  • Save the wedding rings. It’s essential to tuck the rings in a secure location to get them easily.
  • Get your sexy undergarments. If no one has given you the lingerie, find your sexy outfit.
  • Continue with dress fittings. Some couples lose or gain weight from stress, so schedule a fitting to make possible changes.
  • Confirm attendance. This is a perfect time to check in on those lingering RSVP’s.

3 Weeks To Go:

  • Sets off all invoices. Pay venue and vendors for outstanding deposits, and avoid stressing about payments at your Big Day.
  • Find your wedding accessories. Something new, old, borrowed, and something blue. It can be the dress, shoes, jewelry, veil, ribbon, garter belt, earrings, etc

2 Weeks To Go:

  • Provide all the legal documents for the marriage license. Many civil registries recommend submitting documents 15 days in advance to prevent last-minute changes with witnesses.

1 Week To Go:

  • Last dress fitting. Try it on in the store to make alterations if needed to ensure a great fit.
  • Pack for your Big Day and Honeymoon. Your head will be somewhere else before the wedding. This way, nothing is left.
  • Be as relaxed as possible. Reserve a Spa, a massage, have a few days off, and spend time with family and friends.
  • Enjoy your Bachelorette or Stag Party. Let your friends make your best bachelorette o bachelor party. Just relax and have fun.
  • Read your vows out loud. Become familiar enough to feel comfortable saying them. Practice your diction, rhythm, and pauses.
  • Rest, Relax, and Enjoy!
